At Mtn Ventures, we bring the dream of mountain living to life. Jesse, a lifelong adventurer from Indiana, always envisioned a life amidst the breathtaking peaks, where a spirit of adventure intertwines with a strong sense of community.

Jesse plunged into the vibrant ski culture of Summit County, embracing the ski bum lifestyle that defined his early years. With over 30 years of construction experience, he developed skills across various trades, including electrical, mechanical, framing, finished carpentry and virtual 3D home design. In winter, skiing fueled his passion, while spring ignited his drive for building. His journey began with his first spec home in 2007, followed by a successful venture in Denver, where he continued building while running a custom woodworking shop which specialized in finished carpentry.

With a solid understanding of mountain weather and building challenges, Jesse is dedicated to completing homes efficiently and thoughtfully, ensuring each project meets the unique demands of mountain living.

In 2018, destiny introduced Jesse to Michael, a Telluride native who shares his love for skiing and the great outdoors. After successfully remodeling and flipping several homes together, they felt the pull to return to their mountain roots, leading them to Salida—a vibrant community filled with charm and limitless recreational opportunities right outside their front door.

Together, we fell in love with Salida and its welcoming atmosphere. For us, community is everything. Salida is a unique place where you feel an immediate connection—whether you’re raising a family, retiring, or simply seeking adventure in a beautiful setting.
